Mastichari, Kos – One of the Most Relaxed Villages on the Island

The harbor is the center of the village. Fishing boats, small ferries and seaside tavernas create a very authentic island setting. From here ferries regularly connect Mastichari with the nearby island of Kalymnos, a journey that usually takes around 30–45 minutes depending on the boat.

Walking along the harbor in the evening is one of the nicest things to do in Mastichari. The light becomes softer, the sea gets calmer, and the village takes on a very peaceful vibe.

Just a short walk from the village center you will find Mastichari Beach. It’s known for its soft white sand and clear waters. A Great Base for Exploring Kos
